What is an Emergency Action Plan and Why You Should Have One
An emergency action plan or EAP is a document that prepares event operators and athletic trainers to handle emergency situations that may arise during an event. Emergency action plans should be reviewed with the entire staff (including athletic trainers) as well as your local emergency team prior to running an event.
EAPs organize important information such as the location of the AED and other emergency equipment on-site, venue addresses, venue maps, ambulance access points, contact information for important staff on-site. Go4Ellis automates an emergency action plan for your event, that you can optimize with more details. For more information about emergency action plans you can visit the Korey Stringer Institute’s website. And for more information on Go4Ellis, go here: go4ellis.com.
